To me, the really interesting thing about comment #46
is that <intra-line whitespace> appears to be a useless
nonterminal: it does not seem to appear on the right
hand side of any production in the grammar!

That means the easiest way to deal with the formal comment
is to delete the <intra-line whitespace> nonterminal and
its production.

I agree with the intent of the current draft response to
that comment, however.  The response should say that the
next draft of the R6RS will do a better job of explaining
this stuff.
