[r6rs-discuss] letrec* vs. letrec

It is my understanding that LETREC* semantics can replace LETREC
semantics in an R5RS implementation without breaking any behavior
guaranteed by R5RS.

Do LETREC semantics in R6RS match those in R5RS?

If so, can LETREC* and LETREC behaviors be identical in an R6RS
implemenation?
