As I am the author of the current reference implementation, that would
be me. I don't recall not agreeing that "these are errors". My
outgoing archive recalls me writing, among other things, in response to
a note from you:

In case this isn't clear enough, for the record: There are bugs in the
current reference implementation of the reader---due to my incompetence,
no doubt, but also due to the fact that I had only about two hours to
hack the R5RS reader from Scheme 48.
