Preliminarily:
(1) I suffer from chronic fatigue. It is for that reason that this text
has taken so long for me to write (and still is far from as polished as
I'ld have liked), and it also means that one shouldn't expect quick
responses from me.
(2) I live in Mali, and have no easy access to the Internet or to a
decent library. This means I do not in general have the possibility to
check my memory.

For a while I have been trying to have two emails sent to the list; as I
haven't seen them return so far, I assume they didn't make it all the
way. So here goes again, this time from an embassy email address.
PLEASE do not reply there or pass it along..
