And remq, memq etc. Or at least clarify. I would say that remq both is a
standard procedure and can be written as a finite composition of other
standard procdures but maybe I'm missing something.

Also, the above implies that eqv? is equivalent to eq? for pairs,
strings and vectors in the presence of set-car!, string-set! and
vector-set!. Is that intentional?
